3.5 Installing the Fan Module

Follow these steps to install the fan module (Figure 3-4):

1. Remove the fan module from its packaging.

2. Carefully insert the replacement fan module into the slot, being sure to align the module

so it slides along the guide rails and mates securely with the backplane.

3. Screw in the thumb screw to secure the fan module to the enclosure.
